I bought these with the idea of not knowing exactly how they are not knowing anything about prizm lenses.
The last pair of Oakleys i bought was when i was in Iraq in the military and they were just all black normal sunglasses.
These are something special. They've come a long way. You absolutely get what you pay for with sunglasses.

They look nice. The way they open is like a 2 setting type feeling, where it opens to one spot n then u kinda feel go to the next, it just has come intentional complexity to it but so smooth idk its something they def didnt need to spend money on those hinges but do because they have a solid good feel to em.
The finish of everything is fantastic.
You get extra rubber nose pieces.
You get the draw bag soft case
You get the hard zipper case with the big O
These are nice additions and im happy they are still delivering on those.
On the sunglasses, they are made in Italy as you'd expect from any major good sunglasses brand under the nunber 1 umbrella but they have a nice little red plaque that says developed in us or something like that, totally unnecessary but they do it n its idky nice to see.
The sunglasses are great physically in every realm.
These particular style are not gigantic and dont take ur face over, but they do still cover your eyes.
When you out these on for the first time (outside, inside will not be the same effect for a fact) they are amazing. The technology in these prizm lenses is out of this world. They make the world look so much different than before.
It is so unbelievably strange how on a sunny day in northeast pa in the winter after it has snowed, you can put these on and they block all of the unwanted negatives of the sun but somehow make life look brighter? Its a very unbelievable experience.
Im actually looking right niw at other lenses as i did not nnow or realize that they make these lenses for specific and special circumstances.
I got lucky and bought pretty a universal pair that can be used for most anything, but i still want polarized lenses as i do fish a decent amount.
I like these so much regardless im keeping them.
The prizm lenses for fishing that are polarized are deep and shallow are the models and speak for themselves.
Anyway, i cannot wait to go outside and put these on my face. Ive been coming up with random crap to do outside in the cold just to wear them, its fn strange how cool they are n great they really make life. Im telling you the little videos dont do any justice to how well these lenses perform.
So to Oakley, you guys killed it.
